Follow these tips for glowing skin after 30
Being a Hijabi lady, your face is your main focus; hence, it is even more crucial to treat your skin very well. Everybody desires that perfect, brilliant, silky skin. Young people find it easy to get that appearance; your youth does it for you. However, as we get older, we want to accept our inherent attractiveness and maintain vibrant, healthy skin. Fortunately, maintaining good skin is not too difficult—especially these days. Retail items and home cures abound to maintain the finest possible appearance of your skin. We will go over some pointers to help you seem radiant, healthy, and joyful as you get older.
Wear Sunscreen
Though many people overlook this one, it would seem like a no-brainer. Living in a hot, sunny area calls for absolutely investing in some quality sunscreen. The sun can damage your skin, kill skin cells, and cause ageing and wrinkling. Sunscreen at least SPF 50 or more will help protect your skin, keeping it moisturised and blocking harmful rays from the sun.
Hydrate
We are 75% water, and our largest organ is our skin! It’s important to keep everything nice and hydrated. A deficiency of moisture in your system can seriously damage your skin (in addition to countless other health defects). Women should be drinking approximately 3 litres of water per day! Doing so will keep your body and skin delightfully healthy.
Exfoliate
Your face must shed a layer of skin every two to three weeks to be replaced by a fresh one. Exfoliating helps your body eliminate that old layer of skin it is losing. Be careful, though. Exfoliating more than once a week can cause damage to your new layer of skin, dry it out, and cause irritation. Try out a bead or chemical exfoliant and see how smooth your skin becomes!
Diet
Watching what you eat is an important part of your skincare routine, too. Too much salt and sugar (and anything, really) can affect your skin health and cause you to break out. It’s best to eat simple, whole foods that are natural, balanced, and full of water and fibre. Fruits and vegetables are your best friend. So are small portions of lean meat. Or, if you don’t eat meat, go for some beans or soy.
CMT
The CMT routine is a classic because it works. Cleanser, Toner, Moisturiser. Find products that are within your budget and work well on your skin. Brands like Cera Ve and Neutrogena are good budget brands to start with. Try out a trio of a cleanser, toner, and moisturiser, get into a routine, and watch how your skin glows!
