Maybe if you buy the darker colors.

The material is wonderful (similar to Jockey So Soft Elance Underwear- which us a fabulous material). The color is a nice white, not too bright, for middle eastern skin tones, while not looking too yellow. The workmanship is the quality I have come to know from Bokitta - exceptional. For reference, I am a health care provider and need something professional looking and easy to wear (take off to do wudu2) at work.
I have mixed feelings about the hijab. I LOVE the quality and the material. I just wish that you guys had double layered the material over the back of the head, rather than just around the face and the top of the head. It's a gorgeous material, but when I try to wrap it, it just creates too much bulk around my neck. I was prepared to wear it just by having the sides hang down around my shoulders, but because I have black hair the difference between my double layer and the single layer (when it is not wrapped about my head - just around my neck a single time with the edges down my shoulders) does not look right and I really don't like the semi sheer look of it (for modesty reasons).
If you get a darker color, or you are a blonde, this hijab would work for you. If you want a pinless hijab with a casual look (sorry but it is still a "jersey" look) this is for you, just get the right color.
